Salary: $120k+/yr + bonus (DOE)

Job Summary: We seek a Bilingual (English/Korean) Business Transaction Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating business documents, including contracts, purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and operating agreements. This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, Texas, and candidates must be bilingual speaking both english and Korean and also licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. What You’ll do:

• Advise clients on general business matters, including occasional employment law issues
• Assist with breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, and consumer law issues
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and staff members to achieve common goals.
• Strategize and provide detailed practical solutions
• Prepare memos for clients to help make decisions while minimizing risks
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel

What You’ll Need:

• Active membership with the Texas State Bar and holding a status of eligible to practice
• Fluency in Korean and English (reading, writing, & speaking).
• J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school
• 2+ years of experience in M&A, corporate law, and business law
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research tools, case management software, and e-discovery tools for efficient work processes
• Ability to take initiative
• Work well within a collaborative team environment
• Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
